Created by an Act of Parliament in 1974, the University of Hyderabad (UoH) has, over three decades, distinguished itself as one of the best in the country as a centre for teaching, research and innovation. The Government of India, Ministry of Science & Technology has recognized the University of Hyderabad as the second ranking University in the country. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of the UGC has acredited the University of Hyderabad with ‘A Grade’ giving a CGPA of 3.89 (97%) on a four point scale, which is the highest grade ever given. The University’s mission is to promote a dynamic mindset in the field of education and research, and address the challenging tasks before the contemporary world.
A number of faculty positions, at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor are available in the Schools of Mathematics & Computer / Information Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Medical Sciences and Engineering Sciences & Technology.
Candidates with good publication record working in the frontier areas of research that is interdisciplinary or with interests that are at the interphase of science and technology are encouraged to apply.
Recruited faculty will be expected to conduct both research and teaching of M.Sc. / M.A. M. Phil and M.Tech. Courses.
