Job Description
The
Territory Account Manager's role is to ensure achievement of territory
sales objectives in line with the Company's mission, to control,
organize and direct sales activities through both strategic and tactical
activities, and to provide regular reports on status of specific sales,
the market and competitor activities.
For Hyderabad position the territory to be covered is AP and parts of Karnataka.
For Bangalore position: Entire Karnataka
Chandigarh: Punjab,J&K,Haryana & Himachal.

Role and Responsibilities:
-Development of a territory and account-specific sales plan.
-Execution of plan to meet sales quotas
-Delivery of technical/scientific seminars and presentations on products and their capabilities
-Demonstrate command of scientific knowledge to engage in collaborative sale
-Partner cross-functionally to appropriately address the needs of customer base
-Engage customers in complex sales environment
-Successfully navigate and manage a multi-tiered sale
-Engage in accurate forecasting
-Effectively prospect and generate new customer leads
-Manage new and existing customer base
-Develop and maintain strong customer connections at various levels in the organization

Background and Experience:
-Masters Degree in Life Sciences is required, advanced degree preferred
-Extensive commercial experience
-Experience in a strategic selling involved in high end Genomics/Proteomics based Life Sciences Equipments.
Track record in lead generation and prospecting.
-Highly adaptable and independent.
-Strong desire to win business and establish long-term customer relationships.
-Previous demonstrated success with complex sales and within in multi-layered environment preferred
-Work Remotely, out of a Home office
-40% field travel at minimum
-Extensive commercial experience
-Experience in a strategic selling involved in high end Genomics/Proteomics based Life Sciences Equipments.
