Applications are invited from persons having requisite qualifications and experience for appointment to the following positions on contract
6. Plant Virology 01
Post Graduate/ Ph.D in Plant Virology
• Postgraduate (with atleast 4 years of experience) or doctorate in Plant Virology with experience and good working knowledge of serological testing (ELISA/DIBA)/molecular testing (RTPCR/ NASH) for viruses, viroids, phytoplasmas and bacteria. Should have good communication skills (verbal & written)
• Coordinating/supervising activities identifying new research areas, preparing project proposals etc.
• Development/standardisation/validation of virus testing protocols for tissue culture plants
7. Microbiology 01
Post Graduate/ Ph.D in Microbiology or Biotechnology
• Postgraduate (with atleast 4 years of experience) or doctorate in Microbiology or Biotechnology with experience and working knowledge of microbiological testing of food and/or water. Experience in molecular approaches would be an additional advantage. Should have good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Coordinating/supervising activities identifying new research areas, preparing project proposals etc.
• Development/standardisation/ validation of virus testing protocols for tissue culture plants

5. Applicants have to bring all original certificates / testimonials for verification at the time of interview
6. EPTRI reserves the right to recruit or not to recruit against any position advertised or to vary the numbers advertised
7. Traveling Allowance: Travel cost (ticket only) will be reimbursed for attending interview on actual basis for candidates residing outside Greater Hyderabad area. Reimbursement will be limited to 3 AC train ticket for applicants in all categories
except Field Assistants who will be reimbursed second class sleeper fare
8. Appointment purely on contract basis
