SENIOR SCIENTIST – LIFE SCIENCES-Bangalore
Job Description The qualified candidate will join a team of multi-disciplinary bioinformaticians with backgrounds in statistics, computational biology, and network biology, to support research efforts. The candidate's primary focus will be to work closely with customers to understand their business needs, implement relevant Informatics solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
* PhD in Cell Biology / Biochemistry/ Molecular biology /Human genetics, with 0-3 years of experience.
* Understanding of genetic analysis - promoters, orthologs and paralogs, SNPs, mutations.
* Familiarity with various tools and databases that aid genetic analysis.
* Knowledge of pathways in eukaryotic organisms (mouse, rat, human etc)
* Familiarity with sequence analysis and population genetics is an advantage.
* Strong communication, writing and presentation skills
* Ability to perform and consult with customers

SCIENTIST – BIOINFORMATICS-Bangalore
Job Description - The qualified candidate will join a team of multi-disciplinary bioinformaticians with backgrounds in statistics, computational biology, and network biology, to support research efforts. The candidate will also assist genomics software development teams during the product lifecycle.
Qualifications
* Masters in bioinformatics with 1-5 years of experience.
* Knowledge of PERL, R bioconductor.
* Experience in microarray data analysis, pathway/network analysis, proteomic (Mass spec) data analysis is a plus.
* Analysis of DNA sequencing data is a plus.
* Familiarity with DBMS is preferred
