BCIL is inviting applications
from qualified, experienced and ambitious professionals for position of
Project Executive/Senior Project Executive for handling Project(s) in
the area of Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology-Transfer. The
details of the requirements are given below:
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc./M.Tech./B.Tech. (Biotechnology/Lifesciences) with at least two years of experience in IP management.
Desired Qualifications: Ph.D. (Biotechnology/Lifesciences) and LLB (Bachelor of Laws) from some reputed organization.
The candidate should have at least two years of experience in the area of technology management including IP management.
Sound knowledge and experience in undertaking IP searches such as prior-art search, freedom-to-operate search, landscape analysis etc.
Candidate with considerable understanding of Agreements such as non-disclosure agreements, collaboration agreements, license agreements, assignments deeds etc. would be preferred.

Technology evaluation-including technical, IP and market evaluation
Protection, marketing and licensing of intellectual property including post-transfer monitoring of licensee performance.
Other responsibilities may include- undertaking evaluation studies, compiling, writing reports etc.
