Applications are invited for the following posts on direct recruitment basis:
1 Scientist Grade. I 1(One) Rs.37,400-67,000 +8700(GP)2 Scientist Grade. II 1(One) Rs.15,600-39,100+7600(GP)
3 Scientist Grade. III (Jr. Vet.) 1(One) Rs.15,600-39,100+5400(GP
4 Jr. Scientist 2(Two) Rs.9300-34800 +4600(GP)
Eligibility criteria
Sl.N.1 Scientist Grade. I:
Medical:
(A) Essential (i) PG Medical Degree in the field of Microbiology
/Bacteriology /Serology / Haematology or allied biological sciences or
(ii) Ph.D in any of the above related fields.
Non-Medical:
(A) Essential: (i) M.Sc. in Microbiology / Bacteriology /Physiology /
Biochemistry or allied biological sciences (ii) Ph.D in any of the above
related fields.
Experience: Experience of 10
years in research, training, production and quality control of
biologicals after acquiring the essential qualification in Govt. / Pvt.
Laboratories of repute.
Sl.N.2 Scientist Grade. II:
Medical:
(A) Essential: PG Medical Degree in the field of Microbiology /
Bacteriology/ Serology/ Hematology or allied biological sciences or
equivalent or (ii) Ph.D in any of the above related fields.
Non-Medical:
Essential: (A) M.Sc. in Microbiology / Bacteriology /Physiology /
Biochemistry or allied biological sciences (ii) Ph.D in any of the above
related fields. Experience of 7 years in research, training, production
and quality control of biologicals along with relevant research
experience in Govt. / Pvt. Laboratories of repute after PG Medical
Degree / Ph. D.
Sl.No.3 Scientist Grade III (Jr. Veterinarian .):
(A) Essential: M.V.Sc. Degree in Vety. Medicine / Vety Public Health/Vety. Microbiology / Animal Pathology / Animal Breeding.
Experience: 3 years in a reputed Laboratory involved in the breeding and maintenance of small animals.
Sl No.4 Jr. Scientist:
Essential:
M.Sc. in Microbiology / Pharmacology / Bio-chemistry / Serology /
Biotechnology / Molecular Biology or allied Biological sciences or
equivalent.
*NB: This post is reserved for
person with disability (Visually Handicapped) (i.e., the person who
suffers from not less than 40% of the Visual disability )
Sl No.6. Sr Accountant Essential: Graduate preferably in Commerce.
Experience:
5 years’ experience in a Govt. Department / Organization or autonomous
organization dealing in cash, accounts, budget work etc.
General Information:
1. Application giving particulars as per the prescribed format with a passport size photograph on the application at the space indicated with attested copies of certificates should be sent to the Administrative Officer, National Institute of Biologicals (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare), A-32, Sector-62, Institutional Area, Noida, U.P., 201 307. The envelope containing the application form should be superscribed with “Application for the post of “_________________.”
2. The posts carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees of corresponding status.
3. Qualification is relaxable at the discretion of the competent authority in case of candidates who are otherwise well qualified. Experience can also be relaxed at the discretion of the competent authority in case adequate number of applications from candidates with requisite experience is not received.
4. The Institute reserves the right to fill up or not to fill up any or all the posts.
5. Attested copies of all certificates including the caste certificate, if any, as per the prescribed format of Govt. of India, shall be attached with the application.
6. Those employed in Central/State Government / Autonomous Institutes and Central & State Public Sector undertakings should apply through proper channel; otherwise, their applications will not be considered.
