Periyar Maniammai College of Technology for Women established in 1988, now celebrating silver jubilee had conferred the Status of Deemed University under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 on the recommendation of the UGC, New Delhi on August 17, 2007. It is now called as Periyar Maniammai University. The University has excellent infrastructure, state-of-the art laboratories, and modern equipments to facilitate higher education and research.

Qualification

Ph.D degree for Associate Professor and Professor is Essential,
Post doctoral experience is preferred.
Pay and other Benefits
Pay as per VI Pay Commission, approved by the Govt. of India, with
suitable grade pay, D.A (72%), HRA and transport allowances.
Staff quarters available for senior faculties.
EPF / Pension / Gratuity / EDLI / Group Insurance etc.,
Salary is not a constraint for deserving candidates.
