Applications are invited upto 30-09-2012 for the following posts as detailed below:

1. TECHNICAL OFFICER “A” (TECHNICAL) - 1 Post (OBC) (Backlog) Pay Band: 2 : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs: 4600/-

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL: Three years Science Graduate Degree in Microbiology/ virology / Immunology with 5 years experience Or Three years Science Graduate Degree in relevant subject with diploma in the required subject from a recognized university / Institute with 3 years experience in a Govt. Recognized institutes / organization.

DESIRABLE: More than 7 years experience in Microbiology / Virology / Immunology Techniques will be preferred.

2. TECHNICAL OFFICER “A” (TECHNICAL) - 1 Post (UR)

Pay Band: 2 : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs: 4600/-

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL: Three years Science Graduate Degree in Analytical Chemistry / Molecular Biology with 5 years experience Or Three years Science Graduate Degree in relevant subject with diploma in the required subject from a recognized university / Institute with 3 years experience in a Govt. Recognized institutes / organization.

DESIRABLE: More than 7 years experience in Analytical / Molecular biology techniques will be preferred.

3. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (TECHNICAL) – 1 Post (UR) earmarked for
PWD (Reserved for OH) Pay Band: 2 : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs: 4200/-

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL: Three years Science Graduate Degree in Bio-chemical/ Bio-chemistry/ Analytical chemistry with 2 years experience Or Three years Science Graduate Degree in relevant subject with two years diploma in the relevant discipline from a reconginsed university / institute.

DESIRABLE: 4 years experience in the field of Biochemical / Bio-chemistry / Analytical chemistry will be preferred.

4. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (TECHNICAL) – 1 Post (UR)

Pay Band: 2 : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs: 4200/-

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

DESIRABLE: 4 years experience in the field of Biochemical / Chemistry / Molecular Biology techniques / methods will be preferred.

6. TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (TECHNICAL) – 1 Post (UR)

Pay Band: 2 : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs: 4200/-

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL: Three years Science Graduate Degree with subject Botany, Zoology & chemistry with 2 years experience Or Three years Science Graduate Degree in relevant subject with two years diploma in the relevant discipline from a reconginsed university / institute.

DESIRABLE: 4 years experience in the field of Histopathology / Cytology techniques / methods will be preferred.

The prescribed application form can be down loaded from the website: www.ninindia.org and duly filled in application along with copies of all certificates / testimonials etc., duly attested by the Gazetted Officer together with a crossed Demand Draft/IPO for Rs. 25/- drawn in favour of the Director, National Institute of Nutrition, payable at Hyderabad, should be sent and so as to reach this Office on or before 5-00 p.m. of 30-09-2012 duly super scribing the Sl.No., and name of the post on the envelope. SC/ST/PWD /Ex-servicemen applicants are exempted from this payment (application fee). Application should be submitted in the prescribed format only, incomplete / late applications or without demand draft will not be entertained. Applications received after the last date will not be considered and only short listed candidates will be called for interview. Employed candidates should submit their applications through proper channel and not directly to NIN, Hyderabad. The Director of the institute reserve the right to reject the applications or to cancel the notification without assigning any reasons.
