POSITION SUMMARY
The Scientist (Academic Affairs and Science Communication) will be attached to the Institute Development Division of the Director's Secretariat. The selected person will be responsible for all academic services; provides leadership in development of academic programs, policy formulation, program planning, and evaluation; keeps abreast of trends and changes in higher education; works for institutional vision, survival, stability, growth, and excellence; provides a connection between administration and faculty; serves as catalyst to create a climate conducive to scholarly research in an atmosphere committed to the mandates of the institute and the Department of Biotechnology. This will be first a five-year position at the Scientist E1 or E-2 level renewable into a fully tenured position following a positive performance evaluation.

1) PhD in Biotechnology or Life Sciences.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
The age of the candidate shall not be more than 35 years for the advertised position of the Field Coordinator and not more than 30 years for Project Assistants as on 31st August, 2012.
Selected candidate for the post of Field Coordinator will be paid a consolidated emolument of Rs. 18,000/- per month and the selected candidate for the post of Project Assistant will be paid a consolidated emolument of Rs. 12,000/- per month.
Selected candidate will be engaged initially for a period of one year. Subsequently, his/her tenure can be extended based on the satisfactory performance of assigned tasks and requirements of the project.
No House rent allowance (HRA) will be paid. However, during their field stay, the project personnel will be provided accommodation at the base camp.
The selection of the candidate will be based on Walk-in-Interview to be held on Thursday, 20th September, 2012 at the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehra Dun. The registration will begin by 09:00 A.M. onwards.

Description
Genome research chair is seeking an exceptionally talented biologist cum bioinformatician to work with its team of Scientists in Riyadh. The successful individual will fill a unique role in Illumina GA IIX handling, data generation, data analysis and providing research support for the team.
Responsibilities
As part of the scientific team, you will analyze data, develop novel methods and produce reports and graphics for a wide variety of projects based on NGS data.
Requirements
Demonstrated expertise in illumina GA IIX handling and scientific data visualization and significant experience (2-3 yrs) with applications applied to sequence analysis workflows. Faculty Positions in Neurosciences
Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), is a premier scientific institution and Deemed to be University. It is a autonomous organization under the aegis of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. JNCASR is engaged in interdisciplinary research in the frontier areas of materials sciences, molecular and cellular biology, environmental biology, fluid dynamics and theoretical sciences and offers multi-disciplinary scientific environment, excellent start-up support and several shared research facilities.
JNCASR invites applications for faculty positions at the level of Faculty Fellow/Assistant Professor from Indian nationals working in the areas of (i) Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience, (ii) Systems and Computational Neuroscience and (iii) Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience. JNCASR is seeking candidates with an outstanding scientific record and a commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in biology/related discipline and minimum of three years of postdoctoral research experience. Applications should include curriculum vitae, list of publications, summary of research accomplishments, a description of their future research plans and names of three referees and mailed to:
