Research Associate - Bioinformatics
Job Description
To carryout the literature search and compilation of the data for various bioinformatics application in Genomics as per the project needs.
Provide for practical applications of genomic data generated by ABI SOLiD and other platform and have a biological framework.
Installation of the various softwares including CLC Bio Workbench and Genomics Server and data bases used for the NextGen data Analysis.
Using Linux, Bioperl and other computer language to bulid the pipeline and algorithm for data analysis, Data base maintenance and to integrate various data/ databases.
Development of bioinformatics tools for functional genomics, annotation and comparative genomics using next generation technologies data with biological function and phenotypic information for a single species or across multiple species.
Custamization of genome browser and/or development of the data visualization tool and there improvement thereof.
Desired Profile
The peroson has to work on a high value next generation projects of the company with the senior scientist etc. He / She has to be committed and result oriented.
