two years experience in Clinica/Medical Microbiology or 2nd class Master’s
Degree in Life Sciences with Ph.D in Microbiology from a recognized university
with one year experience in Clinical/Medical Microbiology.
Age limit Not exceeding 35 years.
Emoluments Consolidated salary Rs.52,290/- p.m. 6 M,875/-p
Nature of Duties
To coordinate specimen collection and transport from participating sites,
perform and ensure strict adherence of study specific laboratory procedures,
coordinate and ensure supply of logistics, ensure correct and timely data entry,
preparation and dispatch of reports, manuscript preparation

Essential qualification BSC Biotechnology or Graduate in Medical Laboratory/Diploma in Medical
Laboratory with two years experience in molecular diagnostic lab.
Age limit Not exceeding 30 years.
Emoluments Consolidated salary Rs.15,000/- p.m. 6 M,875/-p
Nature of Duties Assist the technical officer in performing the test for HIV DNA PCR, assist in
documentation as per operational guidelines,ensure maintenance of all
samples for sample repository for later evaluation, ensure that samples in the
repository will not be used for research purpose,ensure not to undertake any
independent testing other than NACO samples,ensure confidentiality of
specimen at all levels,will have shared accountability with TO for every report
generated by Lab,will attend all trainings organized by NACO,will meet NACO’s
standards of quality assessment/assurance,will participate in National/
International EQAS as identified by NACO,will assist TO in submission of
certified statement of expenditure at periodicitydefined by SACS.
