WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
The
Walk-in-Interview for the positions of Research Associate/Senior
Research Fellow/Junior Research Fellow and Young Professional-I &
Young Professional-II in below mentioned project/scheme will be
conducted at this Institute on the date/time and venue and other details
shown against positions on contractual basis, which is co-terminus with
the project/scheme. The eligible candidates are invited to appear
before the Selection Committee for Walk-in-Interview at NDRI, Karnal.

Essential Qualification:
Ph.D in Dairy Chemistry/Animal Biochemistry
/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Animal Biotechnology/Microbial Food
Technology Or M.Sc/M.Tech Degree in above mentioned subject with three
years research experience.
Desirable:
Knowledge of research techniques used in molecular biology. Knowledge
about computer application in statistical analysis of research data and
their interpretation.
Note: Professional courses
include those subject that have Undergraduate courses with minimum
duration of four years and include Engineering, Medical, Pharmacy,
Veterinary
Sciences, Agricultural Sciences (four years duration) etc. and do not include those courses in Basic Sciences and Natural Sciences that are of three years duration. If the Undergraduate degree has been for three years then MSc courses in Biotechnology, or Agriculture Genetics and Plan Breeding, etc shall also not be treated as professional courses.

Essential: M.Sc/M.Tech in Microbiology / Dairy Microbiology/ Biotechnology /Food Microbiology.
Desirable:
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the area
of handling of probiotics and lactic acid bacteria, preservation of
bacterial cultures, fermenter and fermentation technology, and hands on
experience in probiotics and development of dairy foods.
Preference
will also given to those having qualified NET (CSIR/ UGC/ ICAR/ ARS)
and having one year research experience in the relevant area.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & Power Point.
Age Limit:40 year for Men and 45 years for Women in case of Research Associate on the date of Interview.
35 year for Men and 40 years for Women in case of SRF on the date of Interview.
30 year for Men and 35 years for Women in case of JRF on the date of Interview.
21 to 45 for Young Professionl-I & Young Professionl-II.

The
above positions are purely temporary and will be filled in on
Contractual basis. The selected candidate shall have no right/claim for
regular appointment at this Institute, as the engagement is co-terminus
with the Project/Scheme. Interested candidates may attend
Walk-in-Interview on the dates as indicated against each project/scheme
alongwith original certificates and typed bio-data with one set of
attested copies of each their certificates with passport size
photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
All
eligible candidates are advised to be present at least 30 minutes
before scheduled time on the date of interview for completing necessary
formalities. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.
Note: (1) Those candidates who are already working in any project/scheme/organization
