Walk In Interview For Research Assistant
Walk in Interview for the post of Research Assistant [02 posts] at our Tissue Culture Department on 21st September 2010.
Project: Potato Micropropagation & Minitubers Production Development of cost effective potato micropropagation protocols for different potato varieties.
Development of protocol for potato plants acclimatization and minitubers production in green house.
Conduct the field trials of mini tubers in different agro climatic zones and develop the package of agronomy practices for different potato varieties.
Standardization of virus indexing and DNA fingerprinting techniques for quality seed potato.
Qualification :
For Post No.1: First class M.Sc. in Botany/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology.
For Post No.2: First Class M.Sc. in Agriculture/ Botany/ Biotechnology/ Agricultural Biotechnology.
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with sound knowledge and experience in plant micropropagation.
Salary (Rs.): Rs.10,000/- per month consilidated for first two years. Above posts are initially for one year purely on contact basis.
