Role: Research Scientist

Functional Area:

Research and development of In-vitro diagnostic kits, which include rapid test (ICT), ELISA, Chemiluminescence, hematology and allied products.

Desired Candidate Profile

M.Sc./M.Sc (PhD) in biological science (Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life science) with more than 5 years experience in Diagnostic industries (B.Sc .with 10 years experience may also apply).

Job Description

1. Candidate must have experience for developing indigenous rapid test kits such as Malaria, HIV,HCV, HBsAg, Dengue, Leptospirosis, Japanese encephalitis and newly emerging/re-emerging infectious disease. Hand on experience in developing ELISA (HIV/HBsAg/HCV) and Chemiluminescence based products. Preparation of Colloidal gold, gold conjugate for rapid tests. Experience in Technology transfer activities and their implementation in production scale, Performance analysis, field trial of newly developed products and their reproducibility study. Technical support to Production team and problem resolving. He/she must have must multi tasking and good communication skills, knowledge on international laboratory standards ISO, cGMP, cGLP and documentation practice. Effective team management skills, Planning, execution and implementation of various operational activities.
