Faculty Scientist Position in Mass Spectrometry
IOB invites applications from exceptionally bright and motivated individuals with an established record of high-quality research, and a strong commitment to teaching, for a Faculty Scientist position in mass spectrometry.
Qualifications and Experience Required: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mass spectrometry- based metabolomics, lipidomics or proteomics is required. Demonstrated expertise and research accomplishments in mass spectrometry, supported by a strong record of peer reviewed publications, are essential.
Candidates must have interest in obtaining external grant funding and be in receipt of faculty fellowships such as Ramalingaswami re-entry Fellowship or Ramanujan Fellowship or be willing to apply for similar fellowships/grants
Salary: Successful applicants can expect a salary which, together with allowances, will be commensurate with their qualifications and research experience.
