Job description:
• Lead the automation initiatives for Healthcare and Life Sciences and champion enterprise-wide automation programs for Life Sciences accounts
• Automation strategy consulting for Life Sciences customers building relationships with C-level and VP-level stakeholders to set vision, strategy, and drive steering committee reviews for automation programs
• Conduct automation assessments, identify opportunities of value, and facilitate building multi-year roadmaps for the automation programs
• Define future state processes, collaborate with solution architects, and present recommendations on automation opportunities estimating the automation potential and business benefits
• Spearhead end-to-end automation consulting projects including process assessment, stakeholder workshops, gap analysis, to-be process design, solution architecture, and business case preparation to assist clients in obtaining budgetary approval for automation projects
• Lead proposal development applying consultative sales approach to project business cases with financial and intangible benefits for the clients
• Support the growth of the automation account and build a pipeline of automation development opportunities backed by proposals
Required knowledge and skill sets:
• 3 to 6 years of post-MBA experience in strategy consulting/IT consulting/ strategic role in IT services industry
• Life Sciences consulting experience on digital transformation initiatives around Pharma R&D and Commercialization is preferable
• Experience in business process re-engineering/process excellence projects (Value stream mapping, swim lane diagrams, process redesign, supporting continuous improvement etc.,)
• Functional knowledge on automation solutions and experience in forming hypothesis-driven automation technology/tool recommendations such as Robotic Process Automation, Data Analytics, Machine Learning for the business use cases
• Experience in cross-functional team co-ordination including Sales, Business Operations, Product Development, and IT
