The Walk-in-interview
for engagement of ten Specialist Gr.–III (Microbiology) in NCDC on
contract basis, initially for
a period of one year or till these posts are filled on regular basis,
whichever is earlier, on consolidated remuneration of Rs.95,000/- pm,
will be held at NCDC, 22-Sham Nath Marg (Near Civil Line Metro Station),
Delhi-110 054, as under:-

Educational & other qualifications
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(A) EDUCATIONAL:
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First
Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other
than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
(102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part
II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in
sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
(102 of 1956).
(ii) Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super
speciality mentioned in Section-A of Schedule VI from recognized
Teaching Institute i.e.
Doctor of Medicine (Bacteriology); or
Diplomate National Board (Bacteriology) or
Doctor of Medicine (Microbiology); or
Diplomate National Board (Microbiology) or
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Master of Science
(Medical Bacteriology) or
Master of Science (Medical Microbiology) with Doctor of Philosophy
(Medical Bacteriology) or
Master of Science (Medical Bacteriology) with Doctor of Philosophy
(Medical Bacteriology) or
Master of Science (Medical Bacteriology) with Doctor of Science
(Medical Bacteriology) or
Master of Science (Medical Microbiology) with Doctor of Philosophy
(Medical Microbiology) or
Master of Science (Medical Microbiology) with Doctor of Science
(Medical Microbiology).
(B) EXPERIENCE:
Three years’ experience in the concerned speciality or super speciality
after obtaining the first Post-graduate degree.
NOTE-I: Any Post Graduate Degree awarded by any Indian
Universities, included in or excluded from, the Schedules to Indian
Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956), consequent to recognition
granted or withdrawn by Govt. of India as per provisions of the said
Act shall be deemed to have been included or excluded accordingly
from the Schedule-VI.
NOTE-II: The Post-Graduation Medical Qualifications awarded by
Indian Universities, must have been included in the Schedules to the
Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) for the purpose of
Schedule VI.
NOTE-III: DNB qualifications is subject to the provisions of the
requirement prescribed in Minimum Qualifications for Teachers in
Medical Institution (Amendment) Regulations 2012, amended
Notification No.MCI-12(2)/2010-Med. Misc. dated 11.06.2012 or as
amended from time to time. [Accordingly, the candidates holding
DNB qualifications would need to get their qualification verified by
NBE as to whether it is as per the requirement of the Gazette
Notification No.MCI-12(2)/2018-Med.Misc./142810 dated 31.10.2018
and upload such verification certificate along with the online
application.]
NOTE-IV: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the
closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.
OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. The appointment is purely on contract basis for a period of one year or till the regular incumbent joins,
whichever is earlier, with effect from the date of joining. Thereafter, the contract will lapse automatically. The
appointment can also be terminated at any time, on either side, by giving one month’s notice or by paying one
month’s salary, without assigning any reason or failure to complete three months to the satisfaction of the
competent authority.
2. The appointee shall perform the duties assigned to him/her. The competent authority reserves the right to assign
any duty as and when required. No extra/ additional allowance will be admissible in case of such assignment.
3. The appointee shall not be entitled to any benefit like Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical
Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion etc. or any other benefits available to the Govt. servants
appointed on regular basis.
4. Non-practising allowance will not be admissible.
5. The appointee will not be granted any claim or right for regular appointment to any post under Central
Health Service.
6. The appointee shall be on the whole time appointment of the Institution and shall not accept any other
appointment, paid or otherwise and shall not engage himself/herself in a private practice of any kind
during the period of contract.
7. The appointment carries with it the liability to serve in any part of the country.
8. The appointment to the said post will be subject to physical fitness from the competent medical board for which
he/she will be sent to the designated Medical Authority by the concerned Institution/ Hospital
before joining the post.
8. The appointee is required to submit a declaration regarding his/her marital status in the prescribed proforma.
10. On appointment, the appointee will be required to take an oath of allegiance to the Constitution of India or make a
solemn affirmation to that affect in the prescribed proforma.
11. The leave entitlement of the appointee shall be governed in terms of instructions contained in DoPT OM No.
12016/3/84-Estt. (L), dated the 12.04.1985, as amended by Om No. 12016/1/96-Estt. (L) dated the 5.07.1990.
12. The appointee is not entitled to any TA for joining the appointment.
13. Other conditions of service will be governed by relevant rules and orders issued from time to time.
14.
If any declaration given or information furnished by him/her proves to
be false or if he/she is found to
have wilfully suppressed any material information, he /she will be
liable for removal from service and also such
other action as the Government may deem necessary.
Eligible candidates fulfilling the educational qualification, experience
etc. as mentioned above may appear
for the Walk-in-interview on 24.06.2022 at National Centre for Disease
Control, 22-Sham Nath Marg, Delhi-110 054 (Near Civil
Line Metro Station). The eligible candidates may register their names
for interview between 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM along with a
resume, original certificates, one passport size photograph and their
attested copies. Registration will be closed at 11.00 AM sharp.
Candidate reporting after 11.00 AM will not be entertained. Candidates
reporting without original document will also not be
