Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and perform various experiments, analysis, data interpretation and presentation.

• Write manuscripts and grants.

• Interaction with senior and junior members of the research unit.

• Interaction with other subject experts, graduate, undergraduate students

• Involvement in primary molecular biological assays in vitro and in vivo (animal studies, tissue culture, qRT-PCR, immunoblotting, biochemical and cellular parameters analysis using diverse techniques, etc.).

Position Requirements

This position requires a Ph.D. in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology), or related field, plus a minimum of one year of postdoctoral training or similar laboratory experience. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in proteomics and genomics research. The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in tissue culture, molecular analyses of gene expression, and designing biochemical and cell assays to measure target engagement or modulation. A record of productivity, as supported by publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, is essential (at least one publication in SCI or SCI-E indexed Scientific Journal with Impact factor). 

Strong written/verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to work with minimal supervision within a supportive team environment.

We are looking for the suitable candidates only from Tamilnadu, India.

Travel: Required (~10%) 

Salary 

Competitive salary commensurate with research experience and other suitable skills (Initial salary range 10,000 to 20,000 INR).
