Applications are invited for the posts of Research Associate and Junior Research Fellow under DBT sponsored project “Antibody-Dependent Cellular Cytotoxicity (ADCC): a new frontier in vaccine research ” as detailed below. The post is purely temporary & for the period of project only.
Research Associate - 1
Up to 30 years
Maximum 28 years (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/women/physically handicapped candidates as per rule).
Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Virology / Molecular Biology AND
Ph.D. in the relevant field with more than three years postdoctoral research experience
Designing, planning, monitoring immunological assays, data analysis and project administration
22000+ HRA @ 20% P.M.
Junior Research Fellow – 2
M.Sc. First Class in Biochemistry/Biotech nology/Microbiology/ Life Sciences
1st class in post graduation, Experience in tissue culture, flowcytometry and related data analysis software
CSIR/UGC /DBT/ ICMR JRF/GATE Qualified will be preferred and Experience in
flowcytometry and tissue culture techniques will be preferred

Isolation of PBMCs, flowcytometry based assays, data analysis
16000+ HRA @ 20% P.M. for first 2 year and Rs.18000 + HRA @ 20% P.M. for 3rd year
Application
should be submitted in the prescribed format (as given below) along
with email ID and application fee of Rs.100/-, drawn in favour of the
Director, NARI, Pune, by a Demand Draft (only from a Nationalized Bank)
or Indian Postal Order. SC/ST/PH and women are exempted from payment of
application fee. Government servants should apply through proper
channel. Director, NARI reserves the right to shortlist the candidates
to be interviewed. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or
bringing political or other influence with regards to the selection
shall be considered as a disqualification. Age and experience is
relaxable in deserving cases.

Fellow’ under ADCC project”. Short listed candidates will be intimated
by email and they should be prepared to attend personal discussion on
April 4, 2014 at 9.00 am at the institute.
