Applications are invited for the positions of Contract Based Researchers under TSP -
Cold Arid Network Project entitled “Promoting bioresource based livelihood opportunities for the tribal community in Lahaul – Spiti, Cold Desert area of Trans Himalaya” sponsored by Central Arid Zone Research Institute (Indian Council of Agricultural Research), Jodhpur. Positions are purely project based and candidates possessing desired qualifications with consistently good academic record and experience are encouraged to apply.

1. Hired contract based Researchers (2 Nos.)

Rs. 12,000/ pm fixed

Initially up to 31st March, 2013.

Age limit: 28 years; relaxation for

SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. norms

Essential Qualification First class Masters Degree in Biological Sciences /Chemistry /Environmental Sciences / Pharmacology

Desirable experience / duties

Conduct intensive field research in Lahaul – Spiti district, Himachal Pradesh.

Experience of conducting surveys in remote areas in the Himalaya

Experience of biochemical and phytochemical analysis
