Job Description
Sound experience and through understanding of mammalian cell culture process development, improvement and optimization
Expertise in operation of various bioreactors, and proficiency in operating relative softwares and applications
Expertise in DOE (Design of Experiments), statistical analysis and process characterization
Must be conversant with cGMP procedures, technology transfer and process validation
Documentation Skills – Must be capable of preparing documents as per the standards/expectations of regulatory bodies. Experience in dealing with regulatory bodies on documentation is preferred
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a cross functional team
Desired Profile
The incumbent would be responsible for process development of monoclonal antibodies for domestic and regulated markets on mammalian platforms
Ensuring that the process designs are compatible for technology transfer and assist manufacturing operations in optimizing processes as per regulatory requirements
Establishing operating ranges for process parameters to improve manufacturing techniques
Handling process improvement, technology transfer, and process validation activities
Supervising the development of new product processes and scale-up at the pre-clinical, clinical and large scale stages of drug development.
Providing technical support to Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs in the introduction of new products.
mentoring direct reports, evaluate external partner technologies and evaluate analytical techniques supervising and guiding teammates/subordinates in R&D as well as Manufacturing in facing audits by
Regulatory agencies.
