Pay Scales:
Professor - PB-4(37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 10,500/-PM).
Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 48,000 Plus AGP
Associate Professor - PB-4(37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 9,500/-PM).
Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 42,800 Plus AGP
Assistant Professor - PB-3(15600-39100 with AGP of Rs. 8,000/-PM).
Minimum pay in the Pay band-Rs. 30,000 Plus AGP.
Senior Scientific Officer - PB-3(Rs. 15600-39100) Grade Pay Rs. 6600.
Minimum Qualifications:
Teaching Posts:
Ph.D. with 60% (there will be 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent in post
graduation/graduation in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. An outstanding professional, working in Industry with established reputation and having made significant contribution to knowledge but not having a Ph.D degree, could also be considered in exceptional case.
Experience:
Professor: A minimum of 10 years of experience in Teaching/ Industry/ Research at appropriate level of which at least 03 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent and should have good research publications. Experience of supervising research is essential.
Associate Professor: A minimum of 8 years of experience in Teaching/ Industry/ Research at appropriate level of which at least 03 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent and should have good research publications. Experience of supervising research is desirable.
Assistant Professor: Minimum 03 years of teaching / research / industrial experience.
Non Teaching Post:
Senior Scientific Officer: M.E./M.Tech with four year experience in relevant area.
