Research project Nutritive Value of Indian Foods – Integrated Indian Food Composition Tables
Date of Interview: 25-04-2011
Essential Qualifications: 1st Class M.Sc./2nd Class M.Sc. with Ph.D. in Biochemistry / Life Science with three years relevant laboratory experience.
Desirable : Conversant with the handling of either of the instruments Fast HPLC/HPLC/ICPMS/LCMS/AAS/Dumas Nitrogen Analyzer/Amino Acid Analyzer. Minimum one to three years experience in analysis of nutrients and bioactive substance in foods.
Age: Below 35 years
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 34,020/- p.m. (fixed) without any other allowances.

Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. with Chemistry and Biology as one of the subject
Desirable: M.Sc. in Chemistry / Biochemistry / Zoology / Botany / Microbiology / Food Science / Food Science & Nutrition with experience in analysis of nutrients in foods. Experience in handling of Fast HPLC/HPLC/ICPMS/LCMS/AAS/Kjeldahi nitrogen analyzer, microwave ashing system, microwave digestion system, muffle furnace, sat boiling distillation system will be an added advantage. Minimum one to three years working experience.
Age: Below 28 years.
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 22,532/- p.m. (fixed) without any other allowances.
4 Technicians 6 Nos. (1 SC, 2 OBC & 3 UR)

Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. or Intermediate with diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or High School with 5 years Lab Experience.
Desirable: 2 years Experience in Clinical Laboratory and experience in blood drawing.
Age: 28 years.
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 15,080/- p.m. (Fixed) without any allowances.
The tenure for all above posts is 3 years. Initially the appointment will be given for a period of six months and extendable based on the performance and subject to extension of the Project by the funding agency. The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards) experience and caste along with a passport-size photograph and one set of Photo copies all certificates duly attested while attending the Walk-in-Interview.
The candidates without original certificates will not be considered under any circumstances. The persons belongs to Other Backward Category should bring the O.B.C. (Non creamy layer) Certificate issued by the respective concerned Thehsildar/M.R.O. specially issued for the purpose of applying for Central Government post not more than three years old, No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interviews/written test. GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. Age Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates will be allowed as per the G.O.I. Rules. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute.
