Desirable Qualification(s) & Experience Two years experience with sound understanding in basic and applied Molecular Biology, DNA/RNA PCR and related lab experience, Microbiological/Immunological laboratory techniques, candidates with experience in quality assurance is preferred. Preference will be given to those with an experience to perform DNA PCR from dried blood spots.

Job Responsibilities To perform and supervise HIV-1 and HIV-2, DNA PCR. Laboratory work related to panel preparation and external quality assurance. In addition, the incumbent is expected to be managing laboratory both in experiments and logistics and assist Principal Investigator

Job Responsibilities The major activity will be to participate in the quality control programme for CD4 count estimation. The incumbent is expected to perform the following tasks.

Monitor the participating centers for quality in CD4 count estimation, provide trouble shooting
2.
Development of protocols, SOPs for CD4 count
3.
To conduct & facilitate CD4 EQUAS

Participate & conduct training programs / workshops and meetings
