Required to have experience and knowledge of -
- Hematology, Biochemistry and Microbiology based diagnostic tests
- Performing all daily laboratory processes from Patient Registration, to performing necessary tests on Hematology analysers, Biochemistry analysers and other instruments, preparation of final reports, performing quality checks
- Microscopic skills - preparation of slides, DLC, Platelet Counting, Urine & Stool analysis
- Documentation
- Inventory control of laboratory supplies
- Familiarity with using a Lab Information System
Qualifications:
DMLT, B.Sc MLT or
B.Sc (life science) or
M.Sc (life science)
