I. Eligible candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview for recruitment of one Teaching Assistant in the Department of Biotechnology on 05.05.2016
at 10 A.M. in the Committee Hall, SVIMS, Tirupati. The candidates have
to attend with all original certificates of qualification, experience on
the date of interview. The engagement will be made purely on adhoc
basis for a period of 6 months and it can be terminated at any time
without notice or without assigning any reason thereof. This is purely
an adhoc appointment and the candidate will not have any right to claim
permanent benefits of any kind. Teaching Assistant
1. Remuneration : Rs. 12000/- per month (consolidated)
2. Qualification : M.Sc. in Biotechnology
3. Place of work : Department of Biotechnology, SVIMS, Tirupati

II. Applications are invited for Research Associate position
from highly motivated candidates having Ph.D degree in Biotechnology to
work in the Department of Biotechnology, SVIMS, Tirupati. Details of
the post are as below. The engagement will be made purely on adhoc
basis.
Research Associate
1. Remuneration : Rs. 36,000 + HRA per month as per UGC norms
2. Qualification :
Ph.D. (Awarded/Submitted) in Biotechnology along with M.Sc. in
Biotechnology having good academic record and publications in reputed
national/international journals. The candidates must have strong
laboratory and analytical skills with proven record in performing
Molecular and Cell culture work
3. Place of work : Department of Biotechnology, SVIMS, Tirupati
4. No. of Position : Two
5.
Principle Investigator : Dr PVGK Sarma, Head, Department of
Biotechnology, SVIMS, Tirupati 6. Desired Knowledge : Candidates should
have experience in Molecular Biology and Cell Culture Techniques.
Selection Criteria: The selection for the Teaching Assistant and
Research Associate positions will be made based on the Department
requirement, past academic record, experience as well as the performance
in the interview.
Terms and conditions:
1.
For Teaching Assistant post Candidates are required to submit the Bio
data, attested copies of relevant certificates in support of their age,
educational qualification, experience etc at the time of
walk-in-interview.
2. For Research Associate
posts Candidates are required to submit Application along with attested
copies of all relevant certificates in support of their age, educational
qualification, experience etc., through post / courier to the Head,
Dept. of Biotechnology, SVIMS University, Alipiri Road, Tirupati -
517507.
3. No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The maximum age limit for Teaching Assistant maximum 30 years and for
Research Associate is 34 years as on 30.04.2016. 5. Applications for
Research Associate received after one month from the date of
notification will not be entertained. Only shortlisted candidates will
be called for interviews. 6. Interim enquiries will not be entertained
