R&D Scientist

Job Description

R&D Scientist will be required to devise a general plan and detailed experimental approach for new product development. He / She will be responsible for all aspects of design phase of development through product transfer into manufacturing.

1. Plan and coordinate design and development plans

2. Fabricate prototypes of new products

3. Test and investigate new technologies and improve on existing processes

4. Prepare experimental protocols and reports in response to development needs

5. Ensure the completion of all product development activities in accordance with design controls

6. Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels

7. Lead research and provide scientific support to new areas of process optimization, scale-up, and technology transfer.

Desired Profile

1. 1-2 years experience in product development

2. Strong analytical skills and ability to deliver results with multiple complex projects

3. Excellent communication skills; must be able to communicate with individuals at all levels of organization

4. Strong interpersonal relationship management skills

5. Demonstrated record of development accomplishments

6. Must have strong computer software skills
